Broker's Comments

This yacht was started in 1984 by Edward Rushby who was a professional welder, his neighbour who was an engineer then bought her from him and transported her to the Humber Cruising Association in Grimsby where he continued to build her over several years and at great expense, top quality nav and comms equipment, a powerful hydraulic auto pilot, heavy duty hatches and deck gear.

The prospective purchaser must take into account the amount of money spent on the build and rigging of the boat which may only require finishing touches to make a great yacht.

The interior is very comfortable and well laid out with lots of storage space and she comes with a good size galley, with lots of storage.

Everything on board seems to be as new.

In 2012 a survey was done and it states that the plating and welding were to a good standard, with very little rippling or distortion.

The frames were constructed of 8mm mild steel which is to the design specification.

The craft plating appears to be of good quality mild steel plate with thicknesses of approx. 5mm on the bottom and on the sides of the gunwale and the super structure is 3mm.

She is designed and built for category B sailing waters.

The interior of the hull has been insulated using fibre glass wool and the fit out is with various good quality timbers.

The decks and hatches have recently been painted with non slip and has a new companion way hatch she now looks fantastic.

This boat needs a gas locker, cooker connecting and VHF radio connecting.

This boat has been greatly reduced for a quick sale and is a real gem for someone !

Please note some external photos are before she was recently painted.

Approximate cost for a lift out is £14.50 per metre; lift and hold for survey is £180

The average cost of survey would be around £450.
