Broker's Comments

'Shindig' is a one off, Custom Cruiser. Launched in 2002, designed and built by Andrew Simpson in Poole, UK.

She is light, at only 6t and is constructed of a Cedar planking hull, fibreglassed and Vacuum Bagged. The deck and interior are constructed of foam sandwiched composite (no ply).

Port and Starboard water ballast tanks were built in for use when long distance cruising and a transfer pump to move the water from one side to the other (seldom used according to the owner).

If you have read the 'Practical Boat Owner' or any of Andrew's books you may already know of 'Shindig'
