Broker's Comments

Princess Yachts have been designing and building powerboats in the UK since 1965, starting in a rented shed in Plymouth just across from where they continue today, now occupying 100,000 square metres of workshops as Princess Shipyards.

The Princess 286 Riviera, considered a Marine Projects classic, was first built in 1984 and this design was the beginning of the companies' direction towards dominating the sports cruiser market for many years. They are well built, handle the conditions well and ride nicely on the plane whilst also easily maneuverable in close confines. On deck, they are well laid out with a large aft deck/cockpit area with versatile seating or sunbathing options and good access to engines and storage below . Down below the accommodation is spacious for a boat of this length; her beamy interior allows for a good size aft cabin alongside plenty of storage and living space.

This particular example has been in the same ownership for the last 18 years and does require some attention to return her to full commission. She is ashore in a good yard and so can be easily inspected and suggestions of part exchange are welcomed
