Friday 18th July saw the official launch of Boatshed Yorkshire with lots of fizz, friends and frivolity.

The party, organised by Boatshed Yorkshire owner, Andrew Holmes, was designed to be an opportunity for everyone in the local boating community to get together, wet the head of the new office and generally talk all things nautical. Over 50 people came from boat owners, to marina managers, Boatshed HQ, sailing clubs and boating enthusiasts.

Andrew says of the party "It's all a bit of a haze thanks to the fizz but lots of complimentary things were said about Boatshed. In the last year I have visited every boatyard, marina, anywhere with boats so everyone knows me! I am getting repeat business and recommendations and have about 60 boats for sale at any time. Everyone seemed to enjoy the party and I managed to introduce Boatshed HQ Mandy and Josh to the delights of Timothy Taylor's Landlord ale which is apparently very highly regarded by Madonna!"

Good luck Boatshed Yorkshire. If you are in the area, the next party is 6th September for the 70th anniversary of the Yorkshire Ouse Sailing Club. Boatshed Yorkshire is hosting a Fizz @ Five so make sure you are there too.
